WHAT IS RAM
RAM is a Hardware Device where the operating system, application programs and data in current use are kept so they can be quickly reached by the device’s processor.
RAM MEANS RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY. It is volatile storage which mean it can’t store memory, it access your Application data according to your usage time. When you don’t want to run application it release at their memory or you will to reload your application when you want.
- It don’t permanent store your data like ROM means your memory card.
- Actually RAM is a place where Program are kept when you want to run. it store your application data, quickly access by CPU.
WHY WE NEED RAM
- The main function of Ram is in the phone Access your application or data. Basically RAM handle our Data or application when you want to Run it.
- A computer also works this way. If RAM fills up, the computer’s processor must repeatedly go to the hard disk to overlay the old data in RAM with new data.
How much of RAM we need in Smart phone.
Actually it’s depend your usage or Processor. If Your Phone has High End CPU, 4GB RAM more enough. If you are heavy users of smartphones Go for better CPU NOT for High RAM. 4GB RAM enough for your smartphones.
The more Ram, the better it sounds
Nowadays Company selling their smartphones with 8 GB,10 GB or 12 GB Ram. Today RAM is become a number. More RAM more customers attracts. I suggest Go for CPU not for RAM.
